Currently displaying mailboxes for a broad area. In order to see mailboxes closest to a particular point along with distances, either enter a specific address or Latitude and Longitude above, or click the icon to find mailboxes near your current location.

This list was generated using official data provided by the United States Postal Service (USPS). We show standalone Blue collection boxes () located outside, which are typically accessible 24 hours per day; as well as indoor collection boxes located inside US Post Office buildings (), with availability subject to the operating hours of each US Post Office building. Last Pickup indicates the time of the last pickup for the day(s) specified.

What sets MailboxFinder.net apart from other mail and collection box locator/finder apps and websites is our focus on precision and user experience. We provide not only the locations of mailboxes but also real-time distance calculations, integrated maps, and street-level imagery to help you find the most convenient drop-off point for your mail. More specifically:

  • We search for mailboxes within a zipcode, city, or town.
  • We search for mailboxes by a specific address, including distance calculations, and clearly identify the mailbox that's closest to that address.
  • We distinguish between outdoor Blue mail boxes and indoor collection boxes.
  • We include direct links to Google Maps, Google navigation, as well as Google Street View.
  • We provide a map that allows you to pan and zoom to search other nearby areas quickly and efficiently.

Frequently Asked Questions

How do I find a mailbox near me if I live in El Paso, Texas?

Click the icon in the search bar and let your web browser detect your current location. We will then display a list of nearby collection boxes along with the distance to each one. You can also enter any valid US address, including house number, street name, city/town, and state; and we’ll display mailboxes for that address.

What other ways are there to search for mailboxes in El Paso, Texas?

You can also search for mailboxes near a specific coordinate (latitude, longitude). Alternatively, you can show all mailboxes in a particular city or town by entering the city/town name along with the state. And finally, you can see all mailboxes in a particular zip code by entering that zip code.

How can I find the next pickup time for each collection box in El Paso, Texas?

The Collection Times data indicates the LAST pickup time only for each day, not the next pickup time. It’s most useful when you need to drop a piece off later in the day, and you are trying to identify a location that is still due for a pickup. That way your piece will begin its journey today rather than tomorrow, possibly shaving a day off the delivery time.

Are the Last Pickup times accurate for El Paso, Texas?

We pull data from official sources and user reports. However, pickup times can change due to holidays or local service adjustments. Always check the physical decal on the box for the most current schedule.

What’s the difference between an Indoor location and an Outdoor location in El Paso, Texas?

Indoor mailboxes are located within a building, typically a US Post Office, many of which are accessible only during certain business hours. These locations usually provide other services, such as weighing your items and selling you postage and other supplies. Furthermore, they usually accept items of various sizes and weights.

Outdoor mailboxes are usually located in a parking lot or streetside. They are typically accessible 24 hours per day, do not usually offer other services, such as weighing or postage, and often accept only smaller/thinner parcel items.

Do some locations in El Paso, Texas offer both Indoor and Outdoor collection boxes?

Yes, many US Postal Offices have both Indoor and Outdoor collection boxes. You may need to view the results using the List view since the Map view is unable to show both a blue and red push pin at exactly the same position.

The map for El Paso, Texas shows an Indoor collection box only; however, when I went to that location, they also had an Outdoor collection box. Why didn’t that show up on the map?

The map can show only one item at a given latitude and longitude position. If that position contains both an Indoor and an Outdoor collection box, usually only the red Indoor collection box push pin will be displayed.

I clicked on Street View, but I’m not seeing a collection box there?

The Street View feature uses the latitude and longitude position to display street view of the collection box. Unfortunately, that data is sometimes inaccurate or out of date, and lacks a directional. Therefore, you may need to pan and zoom within the Street View in order to see the collection box. If that doesn’t work, you can try clicking on Google Maps from the MailboxFinder.net page, and if you then click Street View from there, it may provide a slightly different view point that may reveal the collection box.

I clicked on Street View for several collection boxes in a densely populated downtown area, and I’m having trouble finding the collection boxes. What gives?

It can be more challenging to locate collection boxes in busy downtown areas for a number of reasons. Those areas tend to have more collection boxes per square mile, they tend to be relocated more frequently, and when that happens the position and the address information may become out of date. Furthermore, those collection boxes are often blocked from view by other objects such as vehicles, bus stops, subway stops, pedestrians, and other obstructions.

Why is the miles/distance indicator blank when viewing collection boxes in El Paso, Texas?

The mile/distance is calculated by measuring the distance between each collection box and a specific address. Therefore, it can only be displayed when you search for a specific address, such as “1 Main Street” in a particular city/town and state. It cannot be calculated when you search a broad area such as a El Paso, Texas.

Why are the map push pins sometimes labeled A, B, C, etc., for some search and not for others?

When a mile/distance calculation is available, the relative distance of each collection box is indicated labeling the closest collection box with “A”, the second closest one with “B”, and so on. When a mile/distance calculation is not available, those push pin labels cannot be generated.
